Unilever Vietnam Company recently announced an updated report on two years of implementing sustainable development plan in Vietnam in Hanoi. In 2010, Unilever revealed the sustainable development plan with the aim of doubling growth whilst halving the environmental impact of the company’s products; sourcing 100 percent of agricultural raw materials sustainably; helping more than one billion people take action to improve their health and well-being.

In Vietnam, in September 2011, Unilever Vietnam officially announced its sustainability goals in the period from 2012 to 2020 to implement following commitments: Improving sanitation and health for 20 million Vietnamese people; minimising environmental impacts from business operations and product consumption, focusing on water saving, minimising waste and reducing material waste; and improving living conditions for millions of people in Vietnam.
