Minh Hung III Industrial Park Fascinating Investors with its Unique Advantages

Minh Hung III Industrial Park came into existence after many other industrial zones of the country. However, thanks to the maximum support of the provincial government and the great effort of all staff, so far, Minh Hung III Industrial Park has continuously reaped success and positively contributed to the local budget.

 

The prime location, good infrastructure, and not being easily affected by disasters, floods or earthquakes are favourable conditions for the development of agricultural and industrial production. Minh Hung III industrial park is also attractive to investors by abundant human supply with low labour costs. However, they are only necessary conditions for Minh Hung III Industrial Park to become the "promised land", an attractive destination of businesses. Sufficient conditions are open mechanisms and policies enacted such as the land lease rate incentives and "one-stop shop" mechanism. Especially, when coming to Minh Hung III Industrial Park, investors will be supported and exempted from all registration procedures, accounting regulations, customs procedures, procedures for the granting of investment certificate, and registration for building workshops.

 

Thanks to abundant potential, in addition to specific preferential policies from the authority of the provinces of Binh Phuoc as well as investors, so far Minh Hung III Industrial Park has signed a contract to lease land for the construction of MDF woodworking factory with the capacity of 300,000 cubic metres per year. This project is a joint venture project between Vietnam Rubber Group and DONGWHA Corporation (South Korea), which is considered the largest MDF wood processor in Southeast Asia with investment capital of US$125 million. There are also many other projects which are creating jobs for local workers and contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

 

In addition, to serve investors and employees working at Minh Hung III Industrial Park, Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park JSC began the construction of Minh Hung III residential area which includes facilities such as kindergarten, sport zone, community park, supermarket, houses for workers on a total area of 23 hectares.

 

Along with Minh Hung III residential area, Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park JSC has also started projects to build factories for rent at Minh Hung III Industrial Park. Factories are built under the standards of Minh Hung III Industrial Park. Area for lease is at least 500 square metres with the rent rate of US$200 per metre a month.

 

Mr Phan Dinh Phuc, General Director of Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park JSC said: "Right from its establishment, like many other industrial parks across the country, Minh Hung III Industrial Park set the priority of construction of infrastructure and calling for investment. The industrial park is located in a poor area; infrastructure is still lacking; competitive index remains low compared with that of other industrial parks in the region. However, in the process of development, from reality, we have become aware of the pressing issues on the environment and determined that that Minh Hung III industrial Park protects the environment is tied to its own survival. Only protecting the environment can bring sustainable and long-term development.”

 

 From the above orientation, the industrial park has completed the construction and put into operation a new wastewater collection system. The wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 8,550 cubic metres per day, which meets ISO 5945:2005 standard. The industrial park management board regularly inspects and supervises the collection and transportation of waste produced by business facilities.

 

Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park JSC also pays special attention to the creation of "green space" in the industrial park to create beautiful landscape and contribute to the environment protection. Accordingly, a uniform system of trees has been planted on all routes in the industrial park. With the motto “where there are factories there are green trees”, so far Minh Hung III Industrial Park has had high density of trees, contributing to protecting the environment and balancing the production environment.

 

According to information from Mr Phuc, developing under the criteria of a green, clean and beautiful industrial park, Minh Hung III is always willing to welcome businesses to invest in the cleaning industries. Particularly, priority sectors include industrial and high-tech engineering, mechanical assembly and machine building, electric, electronics, telecommunications, information technology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cosmetics, and high-tech rubber.
