Research Orientation and Personnel Training for Vietnam Cocoa Industry

 

The workshop released review results on overview cacao studies in the region and around the world, results on cacao research and teaching in the country, research orientation and personnel training for Vietnam cocoa industry, and proposals to research orientation and personnel training for Vietnam cocoa industry.

 

This activity was in the framework of the project "Cooperation on enhancing sustainable cocoa development in Vietnam" approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at Decision No. 3237/QD-BNN-HDQT dated December 30, 2011 and assigned to the Management Board for the Project “Cooperation on enhancing sustainable cocoa development in Vietnam” affiliated to the Cultivation Department to manage and deploy. The project was carried out in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), which includes the Vietnamese government, the government of the Netherlands, the Rabobank Foundation, Mars Company and Cargill Company.
