DPM Hai Receives Gifu Prefecture Governor
Vietnam respects and hopes to unceasingly deepen the friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Japan, said Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai.
Deputy PM Hai made the point on July 14 while receiving Gifu prefecture Governor Hajime Furuta who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
The host leader called on Gifu prefecture to shake hands with Vietnam in agriculture and the auxiliary industries.
The Deputy PM also thanked Furuta for his active support for Vietnam in promoting the bilateral ties.
For his part, Mr. Hajime Furuta said that Gifu prefecture hoped to connect with Vietnamese provincial partners and beef up cooperation in tourism, food, agriculture, tourism and training.
Governor Furuta hoped the Vietnamese Government would create more favourable conditions to facilitate contact and cooperation between Gifu and Vietnamese companies.
Gifu prefecture is located in Japan's central Chūbu region and home to large aerospace facilities including Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and metalworking and manufacturing companies.
Up to 40 enterprises from Gifu are operating in the support industry and agriculture in Vietnam.
