Could you tell us about some notable export activities of EMTC in the German market in recent years, also the future plans of the company in this market?
EMTC has been exporting to the German market for almost ten years. But only since 2014 have our activities in this market really developed in depth. Our main products exported to this market include barbecue stoves (firewood, coal, gas stoves) and various types of standard roofing, etc. Export value has increased over the years: US$800,000 in 2013, approximately US$2 million in 2014. The figure for 2015 was estimated at around US$3.5 - 5 million. With the initial rally in the German market in recent years, EMTC wishes to continue working with more potential partners to expand production opportunities and bring our products to more partners and customers in Germany.

In your opinion, to develop the friendship to a new level in both breadth and depth, how should the two countries promote cooperation in specific?
The Vietnam - Germany friendship has a long history, since the 1950s. That relationship has been growing well, several agreements planned to be signed like the FTA will create greater opportunities for domestic enterprises of both countries. To better promote relations, the two countries’ governments should improve cooperation, working together to develop an appropriate legal framework to better serve investors.

I know that the Vietnamese government has been making strong administrative reforms to improve the business and investment environment, namely creating an accountable and transparent legal framework, gradually reducing various unnecessary procedures for businesses toward a convenient way.
