Vietnam Business Forum Opens Rep. Office in Central

Vietnam Business Forum Magazine (VIB Forum), the weekly magazine in English of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), on February 19, 2005 opened its representative office in the Central of Vietnam, which is located in Danang City.

Leaders from VCCI, the People’s Committee of Danang City, the People’s Committees of Central and central highlands provinces, and other relevant bodies attended the opening ceremony under the witness of central and local newspapers and Danang Television and Radio Station.

Ph.D Doan Duy Khuong, VCCI Vice Executive President and Editor-in-Chief of VIB Forum, noted this new office would act as a political and economic information bridge between the Central of Vietnam with the whole country as well as the international community in a bid to help the region promote its economy, particularly investment, trade and tourism.

VIB Forum currently has four representative offices across the country and abroad, including in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang City, Nghe An province and Japan.
