Russian Firms Bracing to Strengthen Business Ties with Vietnam
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry held a conference in Hanoi yesterday to introduce the economic potentials of Russia’s Khabarovsk Region and discuss the investment and trade cooperation possibility between Vietnam and Khabarovsk.
“The conference is a good chance for businesses of the two sides to better understand each other and boost business ties,” said Khabarovsk Vice Chairman Alexander Levintan.
The conference is organized during the Vietnam visit of a Khabarovsk business delegation, which consists of representatives of the region’s 30 leading enterprises. The enterprises operate in the fields of shipbuilding, construction, producing medical equipment, computers, office equipment and beverages, tourism, education and wood processing.
Many visiting enterprises said at the conference that they would expand cooperation with Vietnamese partners, particularly in the shipbuilding and mining industries.
