Securities Trading Association Builds Code of Ethics

The Vietnam Securities Trading Association co-operated with the Taiwan International Securities Investment Consultancy Company to organise a seminar on the building of a code of ethics in Hanoi on July 15, 2005.

The seminar aims at helping the Vietnam Securities Trading Association to build and apply a code of ethics for securities trading organisations and individuals in Vietnam. As originally planned, the code of ethics will be completed in March 2006 within an Asian Development Bank-sponsored technical support project. However, it may be completed sooner, meeting the requirements of the market, thanks to great efforts by drafting agencies.
