Seminar "Japan - Potential for Attracting Investment and Enhancing Exports"

VCCI’s Ho Chi Minh Branch on February 16  cooperated with the Japanese Enterprise Association in Ho Chi Minh City organized a seminar entitled “Japan – Potential for attracting investment and enhancing exports” with the participation of more than 100 enterprises.

 

The Vietnamese market is drawing great attention of investors from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and others with the advantages of social and political stability, low-cost and skillful human resource, and an alternative destination for investors doing business in China. However, Vietnam needs to early adjustments in terms of legal framework, infrastructure, development of subsidiary industries, promotions of Vietnam’s image and investment attraction potential, and changes in policies that are considered a barrier for foreign investors.
