VietnamWood 2025: Connecting Vietnam's Wood Processing Industry with the Global Market

The 16th International Woodworking Industry Fair in Vietnam (VietnamWood 2025), together with the International Exhibition on Furniture Accessories, Hardware and Tools for the Woodworking Industry in Vietnam (FURNITEC 2025) take place from 19-22 November 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC). The event is co-organized by the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (VINEXAD), Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam, and the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), with strategic partnership from NürnbergMesse and support from the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS).

A comprehensive showcase for the woodworking industry

VietnamWood 2025 will span 13,500 sqm, gathering over 320 exhibitors across nearly 800 booths from 27 countries and territories, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Croatia, DR Congo, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Slovenia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

The exhibition will feature cutting-edge machinery such as high-speed saws, planers, advanced drilling and cutting systems, integrated CNC production lines, along with eco-certified materials including MDF, particle board, plywood, and other sustainable consumables. VietnamWood 2025 is set to become a milestone event, reflecting the industry's shift toward automation, digitalization, and sustainable production.

Expanding connections across borders

VietnamWood 2025 brings together the global woodworking and furniture manufacturing community, welcoming industry leaders and innovators from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Leveraging trade agreements such as CPTPP, RCEP, and various FTAs, along with Vietnam's strategic market access advantages, the exhibition fosters greater opportunities for businesses to expand internationally and strengthen global competitiveness.

This year's edition emphasizes smarter, cleaner, and more circular manufacturing. Exhibitors will present the latest breakthroughs in digital production, sustainable materials, energy-saving automation, and precision engineering-offering visitors a comprehensive view of the modern woodworking value chain, from raw materials and machinery to finishing systems and design integration.

In cutting and shaping technologies, leading brands such as Kuang Yung Machinery Co., Ltd., Leadermac, Vetta, and Nanxing will showcase high-speed saws, four-side moulders, drilling systems, and smart cutting solutions designed to optimize efficiency and precision.

The CNC and automation zone will feature fully integrated smart production lines from Đại Phúc Vinh, Thuận Hiền, Thượng Nguyên, Anderson, and HOMAG, demonstrating customizable intelligent CNC systems for every production stage.

Innovator Machinery Co., Ltd., Barberán, and Jun Shiau will present next-generation surface finishing solutions that enhance product quality, reduce waste, and boost productivity-meeting the increasingly demanding standards of export markets.

Complementing these technologies, suppliers such as An Bình, Nhật Đông A, Egger, Blum, American Hardwood, and Grass will showcase eco-certified materials and consumables-from particle boards, MDF, plywood, wood pellets, adhesives to functional fittings-supporting sustainable production and design.

NEXTGEN Activity Zone: Connecting and nurturing the next generation of talent

The NEXTGEN Activity Zone is a dedicated feature of VietnamWood 2025, designed to support and shape the future workforce of Vietnam's wood processing industry. This dynamic space welcomes students, young entrepreneurs, startups, and industry communities to network, explore opportunities, and gain inspiration for their career paths.

The area will showcase award-winning works by alumni from leading universities, and host meet-and-greet sessions with industry KOLs, fostering meaningful intergenerational exchange and encouraging knowledge sharing between seasoned experts and emerging talent.

In addition, hands-on craft activities will be organized to preserve Vietnam's traditional woodworking techniques and inspire the next generation to carry these skills forward.

Staying ahead of trends, shaping the future

More than just an exhibition, VietnamWood 2025 will also present a series of in-depth panel discussions addressing key issues impacting the woodworking and wood processing industry.

Vietnamese suppliers are currently facing challenges as wood products struggle to maintain competitiveness in the U.S. and other major export markets. To shed light on these issues and explore strategies for strengthening R&D, driving product innovation, and adopting smart ODM models to enhance competitiveness and unlock new market opportunities, Panel Discussion (1) titled "Repositioning Vietnam's Wood Industry: Shifting from Processing to Creative ODM to Overcome Trade Barriers and Elevate Global Competitiveness" will take place from 13:30 - 16:30 on November 19, 2025 at Hall B - Booth B300.

Panel Discussion (2), "Anti-Dumping, EUDR, CE - EU Compliance Checkpoints That Could Cost Manufacturers Millions of Euros," will be held from 11:00 - 12:00 on November 20, 2025 at Hall B - Booth B300. The session will share costly lessons learned from past trade disputes and provide practical guidance to help manufacturers maintain compliance and competitiveness in the EU market.

Panel Discussion (3), "Compliance Meets Creativity: American Hardwood in Global Design - AHA Framework, EUDR, and U.S. Hardwood in International Design," takes place from 13:30 - 15:30 on November 20, 2025 at Hall B - Booth B300.

Panel Discussion (4) explores the global trend of Mass Timber Construction amid rapid technological advancements and increasing environmental concerns; will run from 15:00 - 17:00 on November 20, 2025 at Hall B - Booth B300.

Panel Discussion (5), "From Compliance to Net Zero: Vietnam's Wood Industry on Its Green Transition - Smart Operation, Standards Compliance, and the Road Toward Net Zero," will run from 9:00 - 11:30 on November 21, 2025, led by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) at Hall B - Booth B300.

Panel Discussion (6), "Smart Wood Manufacturing: Applying AI, Automation, and Data for Precision Production - AI in Wood Manufacturing: Automation and Defect Detection," will take place from 13:30 - 15:30 on November 21, 2025, also hosted by HAWA, at Hall B - Booth B300.

The WoodTalk session, "Where Technology Meets Wood - Technical Insights and the Power of Young Innovators to Boost Industry Productivity," will be held from 9:30 - 11:30 on November 22, 2025, organized by HAWA at Hall B - Booth B300.
