Phu Tho is accelerating digital transformation, integrating technology into state management, production, business, and daily life, becoming a new driver of economic growth and investment attraction.

The Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee have issued multiple decisions, action programs, and plans to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, and established a Steering Committee and Task Force to coordinate digital transformation projects in a unified manner.

Digital infrastructure is comprehensively prioritized: 100% of agencies and units are equipped with computers, LAN networks, and broadband internet; the online video conferencing system reaches all 148 communes and wards. The administrative procedure system offers more than 2,200 online procedures, integrating 100% of level-4 public services into the National Public Service Portal, helping businesses and citizens save time and costs. Many digital utilities have been deployed, including paperless meeting rooms, digitalized databases for managing officials and public servants, and AI-powered Chatbot pilots supporting administrative procedures at public service centers.

Digital transformation is spreading strongly within the business community. The province currently has nearly 600 enterprises operating in electronic component manufacturing, software development, digital content, and technology solutions. Applying digital technology enhances competitiveness, creating opportunities for cooperation and attracting investment from major markets such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and Australia.

Phu Tho also focuses on developing science and technology enterprises and applying scientific and technological advances to production. By 2025, the province will have 24 science and technology enterprises, 6 high-tech enterprises, and 57 active science and technology organizations. Many high-tech agricultural models and specialty products have been established through new technology, improving productivity, quality, and product value. The provincial innovation index (PII) ranks 15th out of 34, reflecting efforts to modernize the economy.

Digital transformation not only improves management efficiency and public service quality but also becomes a competitive advantage in attracting investment. With synchronized digital infrastructure, effective e-government, and a high-tech business environment, Phu Tho is creating new appeal for domestic and foreign investors, promoting sustainable digital economic development.
