In addition, the 2026 conference programme will feature a series of seminars focusing on key industry topics, including beauty brand building and business development, advanced aesthetic and dermatology technologies, sustainable spa business practices, emerging consumer and retail trends, and strategies for developing the next generation of beauty brands.

Alongside the strong presence of international brands, Vietnamese cosmetics companies are steadily strengthening their market position by developing products made from natural ingredients, leveraging locally sourced materials, applying safe formulations, and embracing sustainable development practices. Consumers are increasingly favouring clean beauty, organic cosmetics, and environmentally friendly products, creating new opportunities for local brands to expand their market share and enhance their competitiveness. This significant shift reflects growing public awareness of both personal health and social responsibility.

E-commerce continues to serve as a key growth driver for the industry. According to data from Metric, Vietnam's online retail sales in the Beauty & Personal Care category reached VND 74.4 trillion (approximately USD 2.83 billion), representing nearly 30% year-on-year growth and making it the highest-grossing category in Vietnam's e-commerce market. At the same time, social media and social commerce are fundamentally reshaping consumer purchasing behaviour. Livestream shopping, the growing influence of KOLs and KOCs, and short-form video content have become highly effective customer engagement channels, enabling brands to connect with and capture the attention of digital-native consumers, particularly Generation Z and Generation Alpha.

From a business environment perspective, Vietnam continues to advance administrative reforms, strengthen the regulatory framework for the cosmetics industry, and effectively implement free trade agreements such as the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). These initiatives not only facilitate import and export activities while encouraging foreign investment and international collaboration, but also enhance domestic quality standards and create a more transparent and competitive business environment.

Sustainability, in particular, is evolving from a voluntary commitment into a long-term strategic imperative for the beauty industry. Today's consumers are placing greater emphasis not only on product performance but also on sustainably sourced ingredients, recyclable packaging, responsible manufacturing processes, and carbon reduction commitments. This shift is driving companies to invest in innovation, clean technologies, and ESG-focused business models, helping shape the future of Vietnam's cosmetics industry. These transformative trends and strategic priorities will also be among the key highlights showcased throughout Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam 2026.
