Pioneering Comprehensive Industrial Catering Solutions
The rapid development of industry, urban areas and services has led to growing demand for industrial catering services. Providers must not only meet requirements for meal volumes and serving times but also ensure food safety, nutritional value and consistent quality throughout their operations.
Established on December 26, 2014, Welstory Vietnam is a member of Samsung Welstory, a company with 44 years of experience in the food service industry in South Korea. With the mission of “Providing Better-Quality Meals and Creating a Better Vietnamese Society,” the company aims to create sustainable value through its responsibility to workers, customers and the community in every aspect of its service operations.
Welstory Vietnam currently employs approximately 2,500 people and serves more than 90 corporate partners nationwide, providing 250,000 meals per day. In Bac Ninh alone, the company serves 41 companies. This scale requires an integrated supply and operational system to ensure consistent quality at every dining facility.

Setting Standards for Meal Quality and Food Safety
According to Park Han Soon, General Director of the company, meal quality must be ensured throughout the entire process, from ingredient selection to serving workers. Welstory Vietnam puts this requirement into practice through its quality management system, control infrastructure and professional expertise.
Building on the standards of Samsung Welstory in South Korea, Welstory Vietnam evaluates suppliers based on legal compliance, production conditions, quality management systems and hygiene. During operations, storage, preparation, cooking and serving are all controlled through established procedures and checklists. Employees receive regular training in food safety, hygiene, operating procedures and risk identification.
To maintain quality from storage to distribution, the company has invested in control infrastructure featuring a “Cold Chain” supply system. Its multi-temperature warehouse system, comprising ambient, chilled and frozen storage areas, meets the storage requirements of a wide range of products. Integrated operations help maintain appropriate storage conditions from the warehouse to delivery and receiving points, ensuring a stable, safe supply that meets the needs of each dining facility in a timely manner.
Alongside operational controls, Welstory Vietnam is strengthening risk prevention, digitizing food safety data and monitoring its supply chain to improve transparency and management efficiency.
Supporting its management system and supply chain is its testing capability. Welstory Vietnam has taken the lead in developing an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory system equipped with specialized facilities and capable of testing for microorganisms and pesticide residues. Test results provide a basis for assessing ingredient quality, identifying hazards and preventing food safety risks.
Alongside scientific quality verification, the company focuses on developing its culinary team through the Welstory Vietnam Culinary Academy. Professional skills development, standardized practices and knowledge sharing are combined with recipe research and menu development, helping improve cooking skills and meet diverse customer needs.
“Welstory Vietnam remains committed to sustainable development, placing meal quality and consumers’ health at the center of its operations. When professional expertise is combined with responsibility and dedication, workplace meals can help foster healthy eating habits, improve health and enhance workers’ long-term quality of life,” General Director Park Han Soon said.
