New Zealand Food & Wine Promotion at Corso Bistro
Corso Bistro, Norfolk Hotel will host New Zealand Food & Wine Promotion from 3rd July to 29th July 2006 in sponsorship of Alpha Domus, Illy, Connoisseurs Wine Shop and X-Cream. The July feast serves an exquisite New Zealand a la carte menu created by Chef Reiner to complement a selection of great New Zealand wines for lunch time eats and dinner delights. Selected New Zealand wines are also offered.
New Zealand a la carte menu features Curried Kumara Soup (New Zealand Sweet Potato Soup), Red Snapper with Scampi spring Rolls, perfect appetizers to share with your friends; Lamb Shanks with a Lemon and Hazelnut Cream with Soft Polenta and Roasted Root Vegetable, New Zealand Beef Rib Eye to sweet ending of Gratin of Kiwi with Poppy Seed Pavlova Premium Vanilla Ice Cream.
New Zealand wines have an excellent acid backbone, gentle fruit, fine aromas and a succulent few other wines can match. New Zealand wines is better suited to food than drinking on their own, although a glass of fine Sauvignon Blanc prior to a meal can do wonders for your appetite.
