Saigon Superbowl Organises 2nd Media Bowling Day Tournament

On June 17, 2006, the Saigon Superbowl Centre hosted the Media Bowling Day tournament to celebrate the 81^st anniversary of the Vietnam Journalist Day. Participants were reporters from central and local mass media agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.

The tournament was also attended by models from Star Face Model Club. The Media Bowling Day tournament is an annual June event at the Saigon Superbowl Centre. This is the second year the tournament took place but it had attracted attention of a lot of reporters and gained certain successes. The team prize went to the HTV team.

The men’s single first prize was presented to Reporter Quang Toan from the HTV and the women’s single first prize went to Model Ngoc Bich from the Star Face Model Club. In addition, two lucky draw prizes were handed over to reporters of the Vietnam Economic Times Newspaper and the Vietnam News Agency.

Mr. Leon Lim, representative of Saigon Superbowl, said: “We hoped the Media Bowling Day tournament is a place for reporters to relax, meet colleagues, exchange experiences and release work stress and is a chance for them to exchange working and daily life experience to make the Vietnam Journalist Day more meaningful.”
