SAIGONTOURIST Hosts Sightseeing Tours for APEC Delegates

On June 1 and 2, 2006, SaigonTourist launched special Saigon-touring programmes for 50 APEC Meeting delegates, including WTO Director General Pascal Lamy, ministers and their spouses. Sightseers enjoyed the original scenery of Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnel.

The programmes are designed with the best services and security and aimed to introduce a friendly, hospitable and peaceful Vietnam as well as typical cultural characteristics of Ho Chi Minh City. These special visitors also had chances to feel and understand the history and culture after dropping on in Cu Chi Tunnel. Specially, SaigonTourist designed a separate programme for attended ministers’ wives to tour the city and visit Rex Palace, XQ embroidery and SOS village in Go Vap.
