25 State-owned Corporations to Go Public in 2009-2010
The Prime Minister’s Decision 1729/QD-TTg dated December 29, 2006 enclosed the list of 25 State-owned corporations, which will go public 2009-2010.
In 2009:
- Corporation 91: Vietnam Paper Corp., Vietnam Steel Corp and Northern Food Corp.
- Ministry of Transport: Transport Works Construction Company 4, Transport Works Construction Company 6, Transport Works Construction Company 8, Vietnam Motors Industry Corp. and Northern Waterway Corp.
- Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: Vietnam Salt Corp., Agricultural and Irrigation Electrical Engineering and Construction Corp., Vietnam Tea Corp.
- State-run banks: Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development
- Hanoi’s People’s Committee: Hanoi Trade Corp. and Hanoi Transport Corp.
- Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee: Saigon Tourism Corp. Saigon Agricultural Corp. Saigon Construction Corp. and Saigon Real Estate Corp.
In 2010:
- Corporation 91: Vietnam Chemicals Corp. and Vietnam Cement Corp.
- Ministry of Construction: Song Da Corp., Vietnam Machinery Installation Corp. Urban and Industrial Zone Investment and Development Corp., and Vietnam Water Supply and Sewage Construction and Environment Corp.
