Vietnam-Denmark Friendship Association Debuts
The Vietnam-Demark Friendship Association made a debut at VCCI headquarters on June 5, 2007, which was also the Danish National Day. The association is aimed to enhance the close friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark.
Attendants of the association meeting voted 23 members for the standing committee chaired by Ms Nguyen Thi Hong Minh, former deputy ministry of fisheries.
The activity agenda of the first tenure (2007-2012) was ratified by the meeting, including friendship enhancement activities, economic cooperation boost, cultural, educational, social and community activities, and association development activities. Particularly, Vietnam-Demark Friendship Association will organise dialogues, seminars, poem contests, cultural, artistic, music, architectural, aesthetic, singing events in both Vietnam and Demark. The association will also give a boost to expand trade and investment cooperation.
