SMC Reports US$233,000 Net Profit in May
Investment-Trading Joint Stock Company (SMC) earned net profit of VND3.73 billion in May, bringing the five-month earning to VND14.24 billion (US$890,000).
The company earmarked total revenue VND966.8 billion (US$60.4 million) in first five months, including VND239.7 billion (US$15 million) in May.
The Ho Chi Minh City bourse listed company gained total revenue of US$119.3 million in 2006, compared with US$97.3 million in 2005. It obtained US$1.41 million of net profit last year, a triple increase against the previous year. (VSE)
