HCM City to Host Indochina Tourism Fair in October
The International Travel Expo 2007 will be hosted in Ho Chi Minh City this October with focus on boosting tourism in the entire Indochinese region.
More than 100 exhibitors from South Korea, Singapore, Laos, and Cambodia, and Vietnamese tourism authorities, airlines, hotels, resorts, travel operators, and others will take part in the expo.
The event, themed “Three Countries, One Destination”, will promote tourism in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It will also feature buyer-seller meetings, conferences, familiarization trips, and many other activities.
“It would help the three nations sell their tourism to the international market,” Thong Khon, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, said.
Qatar Airlines, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar Asia and Vietnam Airlines will offer free air tickets and other services.
Estimated that, thousands of visitors will join the expo, the organizers said. (Young People)
