VCCI Steps up IT Consultancy for Businesses

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Posts and Telecom and Intel Vietnam to organise a meeting to develop an IT consulting centre for enterprises in Hanoi on August 7, 2007.

 

The meeting is the initial step for the formation of a consulting centre which will gather IT firms to assess current IT consultancy as well as forecast demand for IT firms. At the function, several IT companies expressed strong commitments to assist the centre and to provide preferential products and services to the centre’s member companies.

 

When studying, surveying, collecting and consulting the demand of enterprises, the centre will gradually build an information portal and provide IT application advice to businesses on the internet, to provide operational efficiency and strengthen the link between IT product and service providers and their product users.

 

The Business IT Consulting Centre is part of the national programme of “assisting enterprises with IT applications to serve integration and development in 2005-2010.” The centre will help enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises. Currently, IT consulting centres are taking shape in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the two largest cities in Vietnam.
