VCCI to Host Vietnam Days in France

Vietnam Prime Minister agreed and assigned VCCI to host the programme called Vietnam Days in France from September 29 to October 4, 2007.

 

Events of the programme will be organized subject to special features of the long-lasting relation between Vietnam and France. Apart from economic and investment exchange activities, and business forums with the participation of 80 Vietnamese enterprises, Vietnam’s culture will be shown to French people during a week of Vietnamese films and national artistic performances.

 

As of May 2007, France had 177 projects in Vietnam with total investment of US$2.2 billion, ranking 9^th out of 77 countries and territories investing in Vietnam.

 

France has been one of the ten countries having the largest number of tourists to Vietnam, with nearly 100,000 French visitors in the first half of 2007.
