Int'l Industrial Trade Fair to Open in Vietnam
An international industrial trade fair (EPM Vietnam) is scheduled to open in Ho Chi Minh City on Oct 18-21 and will attract 150 leading companies, mainly from Germany, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea.
Participants will showcase their most advanced industrial products and modern technologies ranging from building, electronic, energy to metallurgy process on an area of 5,000 square meters.
The four-day event is to be co-organized by Germany’s Hannover- Messe International GmbH and AFC International Exhibition Fair Corp.
After joining WTO, the communist country becomes an increasingly attractive marketplace. The country will have a great demand for foreign-made technology to modernize its industry and increase efficiency.
Vietnam is striving to realize its ambitious economic plans to become an industrialized country by 2020 and escape from the poverty trap in 2010. (Labor, Investment)
