"Miss Saigon" to Perfume China
Sai Gon Cosmetics Joint Stock Company (SCC) is going to ship its most premium perfume branded Miss Saigon to China for a value of US$80,000.
Miss Saigon perfume is also one of most popular Vietnamese perfumes.
China is now one of SCC’s major markets, accounting for 40 per cent of the total US$2.3 million gained by the company so far this year. Australia, Asian and African countries are also SCC clients.
SCC is expected to win other deals from the US and New Zealand.
In 2004, SCC invested VND50 billion to put its new cosmetic factory into operation, which is installed with state-of-the-art technology from France.
In 2006, the company’s revenue increased by 20 per cent on year, to which export revenue contributed over 42 per cent. (Youth)
