"Economic Arbitration Services in Asia - Hong Kong Advantage"

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) cooperated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to open the seminar on “Economic Arbitration Services in Asia - Hong Kong Advantage” at Sheraton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on September 18, 2007 with the aim of providing, assisting and advising enterprises to settle economic disputes and cases.

 

Mr Nguyen The Hung, deputy general director of VCCI HCM City, said at the seminar, “International trading activities are being developed and expanded; thus, there will be many international economic disputes. As a result, the professional role of international economic arbitrators is increasingly important.” And, this is also an opportunity for Vietnamese partners to learn from and cooperate with foreign partners.
