Vietnam Insurance Market to Become Biggest in ASEAN
Vietnam will become the biggest insurance market among Southeast Asia countries in next ten years, said Terence Anderson, general director of the AIG Vietnam.
Speaking at the signing ceremony between AIG Vietnam and Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) in Ho Chi Minh City November 14, Anderson said Vietnam has a full potential insurance market, which will be become the biggest in ASEAN in a decade.
The U.S. insurer and ACB reached a strategic partnership deal to develop products, introduce customer loyalty products and distribute insurance products through the bank’s network.
In the near term, ACB and AIG Vietnam will provide value-added travel, personal accident insurance policies and then commercial insurance products for ACB’s customers.
AIG will provide its global expertise in product development and claim compensation service, while ACB will distribute products through its branches nationwide. (VNA)
