Vietnam Exports to Spain Surpass US$200Mln in First Quarter

Vietnam’s total export value to Spain in the first three months of this year reached US$200.36 million, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s website.
 
In March, the country earned US$68.97 million from goods exports to the European country. During the three-month span, coffee was the country’s biggest cash earner with US$54.13 million, followed by seafood with US$33.88 million, apparel with US$29.37 million, and woodwork products with US$14.48 million.
 
Last year, Vietnam remained the second largest footwear exporter to Spain with total value of EUR220.3 million, up 10.68 per cent on-year.
 
In 2006, two-way trade between Vietnam and Spain climbed to US$915 million, posting an on-year increase of 20 per cent. (Vinanet)
