Vietnam Exports US$322.8 Mln Commodities to Thailand in First Quarter
Vietnam reportedly reaped US$322.8 million from goods exports to Thailand in the first quarter of this year, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In March, the country’s total export value stood at US$121.04 million, said the website without figuring on-year comparison.
Among export items to the Asean country, computers, electronics and spare parts topped the list with US$98.25 million, followed by crude oil with US$47.78 million, seafood with US$11.58 million, bikes and components with US$5.99 million and coal with US$5.84 million.
Vietnam and Thailand established the trade ties two decades ago and the bilateral trade has seen a steady growth rate to reach US$5 billion last year. It is expected to double by 2010. (Vinanet)
