Outbound Tours from Vietnam Strongly Up
The number of Vietnamese people taking outbound tours is increasing day by day with annual increase of between 15% and 20%, state media has said.
The tr is attributed to higher living standards of local people, tour operators said.
Most favorite destinations of Vietnamese travelers are China, South Korea and Southeast Asian nations, the operators added, explaining that the number of Vietnamese travelers going to China is increasing sharply.
Tour operators are paying more attention to launching more new outbound tours to meet increasing demands of local people.
Last year, outbound tours attracted almost 600,000 citizens from the southern economic hub and surrounding provinces, 12% more than the previous year. (VNA)
