Vietnams Largest Manufacturing Solutions Event

The 4th Viet Nam International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition and Conference, MTA 2008, co-organized by Singapore Exhibition Services and VCCI Exhibition Service took place in Hanoi for the first time on July 9-12 at Giang Vo Exhibition Centre.

The event drawn the participation of nearly 400 exhibitors, of which 80% are international companies from 25 countries and territories around the world such as Germany, The Czech Republic, Japan, The Republic of Korea, and Singapore.

Addressed in the ceremony, Mr Vu Tien Loc, chairnman of VCCI said, MTA Viet Nam 2008 is a good platform for companies to meet up with their Vietnamese customers and impress them with their products, solutions and services.

According to Mr. Christopher Miller, Project Director of the German Machine Tool Builder Association, German exhibitors will offer their entire technology range across all processes: metal-cutting and forming machine tools, laser technology, tools, parts and accessories, and plus services.

These modern technologies and machines will support the development of the manufacturing industries as well as speed up the nation&rsquos industrialization and modernization in the upcoming period.

The first MTA Viet Nam was held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2005 and become one of the biggest events for showcasing manufacturing solutions for the country.
