ADB to Lend US$26 Mln to Help Build 3 Expressways in Vietnam

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide technical assistances worth US$26 million to help construct three expressways in Vietnam.
Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the country’s central bank Nguyen Van Giau plans to sign agreements for these technical assistances on December 12.
 
Three expressways to be built will include one linking Hanoi and Lang Son, one connecting Halong and Mongcai, and the rest linking Ben Luc and Long Thanh in Mekong delta region.
 
Besides, ADB will grant US$3 million to support feasibility studies of construction highways in East-West corridor.
At CG meeting in Hanoi, ADB pledged US$1.56 billion in ODA for Vietnam, behind the World Bank with US$1.66 billion. (Financial Investment)
