Vietnam Gov't to Guarantee Loans for Power, Traffic Projects Next Year
The Vietnamese government plans to guarantee at least US$30 million credits for key power projects and traffic infrastructure, the state-run Vietnamnet newswire reported, citing the government official.
The power projects under the national electricity development scheduled for 2006-2015, and vision 2025, or plan VI, as well as expressway projects and other key projects approved by the Prime Minister will be supported with the guarantee.
Vietnam will build and operate 135 power plants with combined capacity of 48,744 MW from now to 2015 under the plan VI. (Vietnamnet)
