Vietnam Central City Calls for US$1 Bln Investment into 12 Key Projects
Central coastal city of Danang is seeking US$1 billion in foreign investment for 12 key projects involved in fields of high-tech infrastructures, tourism and real estate, Lam Quang Minh, director of the city’s investment promotion center said on December 23.
In 2008, the city lured 26 new foreign-invested projects valued at US$633 million and five existing projects added with US$33.5 million.
Minh added that by December 8, Danang has licensed a total of 146 FDI projects, totaling US$2.4 billion. (Pioneer)
