Vietnam Hosts 7th Asia Oil & Gas Technology Conference
Hundred of domestic and foreign officials and experts are gathering at the 7th Asia oil and gas technology conference entitled “Developing Fuel Quality And Oil Refining Technology For The Next Generations” opened in Ho Chi Minh City February 18.
The three-day conference was co-organized by the state-owned oil PetroVietnam group (PetroVietnam), the Japanese Oil and Gas Association and the Japanese Automobile Producer Association.
The event created a good chance for domestic participants to share information and experience in oil refining technology and fuel quality with experts and officials from the Japanese Government and Southeast Asian countries.
In mid-November 2008, Vietnam also hosted the 10th Gas Information Exchange for the Western Pacific Conference and Exhibition (GASEX 2008) in Hanoi.
The event focused on regional and global issues, energy and gas development, gas trading, natural gas exploitation technologies and gas management skills. (Young People)
