Vietnam Enlisted Among 20 Countries to Receive US$1.2 Bln from Canada This Year

Vietnam has been enlisted among 20 countries which will receive financial supports worth CAD1.5 billion (US$1.2 billion) from Canada this year.
 
Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation has said Canada has cut the number of aid recipients to 20 from 25 and most countries are in Caribbean region, Gaza Strip, and the West Bank, Asian, African and Latin American regions.
 
In Southeast Asia, Indonesia and Vietnam have been added to the list.
 
Vietnam reportedly earned US$656.38 million from goods exports to Canada last year, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
