Vietnam Northern Province to Build Seven Industrial Parks
The northern province of Ninh Binh will build seven industrial parks (IP) which will cover a total area of 1,960 hectares to attract more investment.
The IPs are Gian Khau, Ninh Phuc, Tam Diep, Phuc Son, Son Ha, Xich Tho and Khanh Cu.
Among those, the two of Gian Khau and Ninh Phuc worth a combined investment of VND1.06 trillion (US$62.3 million) are being built. Meanwhile, the province is seeking investors to carry out the other parks.
Now the province is building infrastructure at Ninh Phuc IP which has attracted many big projects, including a fertilizer factory with an annual capacity of 560,000 tons. Construction on the park is scheduled for completion in 2010.
It has finished site clearance for Gian Khau IP and is currently constructing the road, electricity and waste treatment network. (Vietnam Economic Times)
