Vietnam Central City Licenses FDI Projects Worth US$150M, up 9 Folds On-year
The central city of Danang has so far this year licensed nine foreign direct investment (FDI) projects capitalized at US$150 million, up nine folds on-year, said the municipal Department of Planning and Investments said.
Currently, the central locality houses 155 FDI projects totaling US$2.66 billion with 40 per cent of this disbursed. The U.K. is the biggest foreign investor in the city.
FDI enterprises now account for 20 per cent-25 per cent of the province’s total industrial value, 30 per cent-35 per cent of its exports and contributed 17 per cent-20 per cent to the budget revenues. (HCM City Law)
