Japanese-based Brother International Corporation, one of the world’s leading office equipment makers, has opened a subsidiary in Vietnam to replace its representative office established in 2005.

Brother International Vietnam (BICV) has become one of the first wholly foreign-invested distribution companies in Vietnam.

The new establishment aims to expand the corporation’s operations in Vietnam as it sees the huge potential of the Vietnamese market, said Yoshihiro Nakayama general director of Brother International Vietnam.

Brother International has operated a factory in Vietnam’s northern province of Hai Duong since 2007, producing mainly fax and photocopy machines, printers and other office equipment. (Investment)
