More than 150 delegates from Vietnam and cities abroad gathered at an international forum of the Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC) held in Vietnam’s city of Hue on July 21 and 22.

The forum aims to share experiences related to social security, food hygiene, clean water supplies, disease prevention and control, climate change and health, and solid waste treatment.

The participants appreciated the host city’s expertise in preventing epidemics, improving food hygiene, supplying clean water, and in collecting and treating solid waste.

The People’s Committee of Hue and the Secretariat of the Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC) jointly organized the two-day forum.

Established in 2003, the AFHC now has 120 member cities in ten countries. (Labor, VNA, Vietnamnet)
