Vietnam Tourism Property Association Established

The Vietnam Tourism Property Association (VnTPA) was launched on August 14 after two years of preparation to further development in the burgeoning tourism property sector in the country.

 

The young VnTPA, which is an arm of the Vietnam Real Estate Association, will be a platform for tourism property companies to share experiences, seek opportunities, voice difficulties and find solutions, Phan Huu Thang head of the Foreign Investment Management Bureau under the Ministry of Planning and Investment and a founder of the association said in a briefing in HCM City recently.

 

VnTPA will support its members in promoting investment opportunities in the field and build up a favorable legal environment to attract investors.

 

The priority of the association is to recheck difficulties that the tourism property developers face and to seek solutions to create a clear investment environment.

 

The association will also review tourism property development in the context of investment trends.

 

As many as 100 companies have registered for membership in the Vietnam Tourism Property Association.

 

International tourist arrivals to Vietnam will be down 10%-12% this year due to the negative effects of the global economic downturn and the A/H1N1 flu epidemic. (Investment)
