Vietnam to Launch Tourism Promotion in Japan, China
The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam National Tourism Administration will launch a tourism promotion campaign in Japan and China in September and November 2009 to advertise the city and the nation.
The promotion campaign in Japan will be launched in September in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
Meanwhile, the campaign will be held in China in November, 2009.
The 1,000th Anniversary of Thang Long Citadel-Hanoi and the National Tourism Year 2010 will be top promotions for the campaigns.
Hanoi also plans to cooperate with embassies in the city to publicize the two events.
The move aims to lure more international tourists to Hanoi and to the country as a whole. (News, Vietnam & World Economy)
