U.S. Remains Biggest Importer of Vietnamese Woodworks in Jan-Aug

The U.S. was the biggest importer of Vietnamese woodworks with total revenues of $660.6 million in the first eight months of 2009, up 1.4% from a year earlier.
 
The Vietnam General Customs Department said that Japan became the second biggest importer, buying $232.7 million worth of woodworks from Vietnam in Jan-Aug, down 3.2% against the same period of last year.

In Jan-Aug, Vietnam raked in $1.55 billion from woodwork export, down 14.8% from a year earlier. (Vinanet)
