Vietnam EZ Licenses VND910B Projects So Far This Year
Dong Nam Economic Zone (EZ) in the central province of Nghe An has licensed seven projects valued at VND910 billion ($50.9 million) since the beginning of this year.
The projects include Ethanol Vietnam fuel production plant, Vinh wood processing plant, NPK fertilizer production plant and Vietnam-Korea agricultural machine assembling and repairing plant.
The economic zone was set up in June 2007 on a site of 18,824 hectares in Dien Chau and Nghi Loc districts of and Cua Lo town, seven kilometers from Vinh city.
As of August 24, the EZ attracted 17 projects, including four foreign-invested ones, totaling $121.218 million. (Investment)
