Vietnam Boosting Use of Locally-made Goods
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Business Studies and Assistance Center (BSA) and the Tuoi Tre newspaper organized a seminar to help boost sales Vietnamese goods in Hanoi on Nov. 2.
Over 200 domestic firms who attended the event committed to supply high-quality Vietnamese products with competitive prices.
In early August, the Politburo launched a campaign to promote the use of locally-made commodities.
This is one of the Party’s measures to boost economic recovery amid the global economic downturn. (Local sources)
