Vietnam Total Money Supply at end-Oct Up 23.99% from end-2008, SBV Says

Vietnam’s measure of total money supply, or M2 at the end of October was up 23.99% since end-2008, the State Bank of Vietnam, the country’s central bank, said in a statement.
 
M2 in October was up 1.52% from September, the statement said.
 
Total deposits reported among local banks at the end of October were up 25.72% from the end of 2008, it added.
 
Meanwhile, credit growth at end-Oct surged 33.29% since end-2008, it said. (SBV)
