S.Korea, Vietnam to Hold Investment Promotion Seminar Nov 26-28

The ASEAN-Korea center, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and Vietnam Trade Office in S.Korea will hold a conference to promote investments on Nov. 26-28 in Seoul.
 
At the seminar, Vietnam will introduce investment policies and encourage South Korean companies to invest in areas of power, electronics, auto, plastics, energy and infrastructure.
 
At end-Sept, South Korea had invested into 2,284 projects totaling US$22.4 billion in Vietnam, ranking the second among 88 countries and territories in the Southeast Asian nation. 
 
Vietnam exported US$1.3 billion worth of goods to South Korea in the first eight months of 2009, up 0.3% from a year earlier.
 
Trade between Vietnam and South Korea is expected to hit US$8.9 billion-US$9.3 billion this year. (Vietnam Economic Times)
