Vietnam Central Highlands Province to Export 6,000 tons of Bee Honey this Yr

Vietnam’s central highlands province of Dak Lak targets to export a total of 6,000 tons of bee honey in 2009, accounting for 54.54% of Vietnam’s total bee honey output.
 
So far this year, the province has exported 5,000 tons, with the U.S., Canada, Japan and South Korea being main buyers.
 
To promote honey production, the Dak Lak Bee Company has provided training for 300 families in 8 southwestern provinces. The courses were held in My Tho City of Tien Giang province. (Vietnam & World Economy)
