Vietnam Exports to Asia, China, EU, U.S. Rise Sharply in Jan
Vietnam’s exports to its key markets of Asia, China, the EU and the U.S. in January surged 27.9%, 23.7%, 30.8% and 25.2% from a year earlier, respectively, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said without giving exact values.
The country’s export revenue of minerals and fuels also soared 30.8% on-year, said the ministry.
The General Statistics Office estimated Vietnam fetched $4.9 billion from exported goods in the first month of this year, up 28.5% on-year.
The ministry is striving to boost the country’s export value to $60.54 billion in 2010, up 7% from a year earlier. (Youth)
