Vietnam Electric Wire, Cable Exports Down 11.61% to US$885.1M in 2009
Vietnam exported US$885.1 million worth of electric wires and cables last year, down 11.61% from a year earlier.
The Southeast Asian country shipped US$116.24 million worth of the products abroad last December, up 15.36% from a month earlier, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
Japan was still the biggest importer of Vietnam after it bought US$639.5 million worth of the products in 2009.
The U.S. was the second biggest buyer of Vietnamese electric wires and cables with US$91.2 million. (STD)
