Vietnam-Argentina Trade Valued at $284.13M in Jan-Apr
Trade between Vietnam and Argentina stood at $284.13 million in the first five months of 2010, including Vietnam’s trade deficit of $216.51 million
Vietnam exported $33.81 million worth of goods to Argentina during the period, surging 79.59% on-year and imported $250.32 million, rising 28.41%, said the Vietnam Trade Office in Argentina June 10.
The Southeast Asian country’s export staples to Argentina were footwear worth $12.1 million, up 35.79% on-year, apparel worth $6.53 million, up 19.31% and rubber products worth $7.1 million, up 21%
Its main imports were animal feed worth $141.68 million, up 56.6%, wheat worth $58.97 million, up 23.56% and garment accessories worth $9.21 million, up 3.68%
Trade between Vietnam and Argentina soared 49.52% from a year earlier to $634 million last year. (www.ttnn.com.vn)
